While typically I use my own words to share a product or brand here on Makers Workshop, today I am going to do things a bit differently. The artist statement by Hilary Grant spoke so much to me and to the core of what Makers Workshop is about, I do not want to alter it in any way. I found Hilary Grant Knitwear a few months ago and have been smitten ever since. Of course I have a sincere love of most things Scottish, but Hilary's genuine craftsmanship stands alone and is something to be admired. While February is (sometimes) the only cold month here at home, I long for her mushroom and ember colored pom hat to warm my head even if I have to pretend its chilly out.
